Problem: What’s Enlightenment?
Thanks for wondering the questions that come to the mind, even when they seem “instead peculiar” to you. In Enlightenment all observed pain has faded, for what but wrong-mindedness felt to make the misperception named pain.
Suffering was the dream that Christ can keep a Loving Creator’s Mind. “If suffering is actual there is number God. If Lord is true there is no pain.”(W-190.3) The latter is true since God doesn’t have opposite. Enlightenment entails no pain or displeasure about ANYTHING, for Enlightenment is Genuine, Continuous Pleasure, Peace, Flexibility, and Joy. Being Constant, Enlightenment understands maybe not of change. The illusion of susceptibility and changing emotions has gone as well. There’s number vanity to drop “right back into.” Nature Abides in light Love. All pain is over Now and nothing remains but an advantage of Stillness.
The Sacred Nature could be the note that Life is Eternal. The Present Time may be the gateway to Eternity. The world of pictures was a world of illusion. Images are thus simple to the Sacred Spirit. They certainly were “neutralized” the instant they seemed to arise acim.
What does that suggest in relation to the second problem? You cannot kill what has never existed, and in the Sacred Spirit’s Perception of forgiveness hurt is impossible. The separate mind was the “killer” impression, yet the Holy Spirit reminds the sleeping mind that what’s whole and specific can never BE split. In Heaven Mind is One Nature, and also with regard to this world forgiveness shows this Oneness. The forgiven world understands the unity of the healed mind and sees that there is nothing “outside” of this simple mind which desires lightly a pleased, mild dream. The goal of ACIM is to dream softly of a sinless world. That goal is a lot more than possible, it’s inevitable!
In terms of my appearing diet, “eat what is served” is the Guidance I was handed from the Holy Soul many years ago. Join together with your brother and allow number principle come involving the Love you share. That Guidance hasn’t changed. “Dinner” is always a background for sharing the Delight of the Living Moment. What the world calls “breathing” and “eating” and “drinking” and “sleeping” are actually the same in the Enlightened State. The Healed Perception sees the sameness of all things because each of them share exactly the same Function: forgiveness. This Perspective isn’t “personal,” for in unified belief nothing is personal. Lord isn’t any respecter of persons. I literally can not “take” an animal’s “life” since Living is Soul and can only be extensive or Given as God Gives. “Take” does not have any indicating in my own brain and because animals have not “lived” it is impossible that they may “die.” The opinion indicated in the thought “individually get an animal’s life” has several main assumptions which can be false. In right-mindedness it is apparent that some ideas are strengthened because they are provided out or distributed, and “taking” a “life” or anything at all has no meaning. All that I give is directed at mySelf, and in providing there’s no loss, no compromise, and nothing is ever recinded from wholeness and unity. The instructor of God does not want whatever can not be given away. Such could be the Pleasure of wonders! The thought vegetables seem to be flung every where, yet there is never a good view back to see where in fact the seeds land. The vegetables are never for an “different,” and because providing and getting are the exact same your brain gets the gifts it gives. This really is really the food you seek for underneath the ego’s questions.
The only question that want be requested is a problem that is not necessarily silly at all: Am I prepared to learn that God’s May and My Own would be the Same?
